In the new Collective Labor Agreement (CAO) for Freight Transport, it has been agreed that all new trucks will be required to have a parking heater and stand air conditioner. The new CAO comes into effect on July 1, 2021.
Trade unions FNV and CNV Vakmensen have reached a negotiation agreement with employers in the transport and logistics sector for a new Collective Labor Agreement for Freight Transport. The new two-year CAO, officially called the CAO for Freight Transport by Road and Mobile Crane Rental, is effective from January 1, 2021, to December 31, 2022. It has been agreed in the CAO that all new trucks (ordered after July 1) will be required to have a parking heater and stand air conditioner. These climate control systems also work when the engine is off.
